SALT course

The next SALT course that is being offered at Shepherd of the Hills Church, "Preparing for short term missions," begins October 22. Short-term mission trips can be life-changing experiences for all involved. This 5-week course prepares individuals and church groups for these special ministries by offering a biblical perspec-tive on the world’s peoples and the Lord’s call to go to the nations. Students gain practical skills for cross-cultural ministry that will benefit those who go, those whom they serve, and the host mission.

This course, like all SALT courses, will include online audio/video lectures with Power-Point presentations, online threaded discussions, group projects and other assignments, readings and resources all based on a website devoted to this specific course. You will reveive 2 units of Undergraduate or Graduate credit that can be counted towards a degree at Hope International University.
