Women's Ministries

For weekly fellowship with Bible study on a more personal level, we encourage women to join a LIFE Group. We would also encourage all women to attend one of the Women's Encounter Weekends for a life changing experience. Contact: Lori Lewis at x. 111 or llewis@theshepherd.org

Men's Ministries

Shepherd's Men's Ministry is dedicated specifically to encourage men to be Christlike. They meet weekly for Bible study, discussion, and accountability. Men's Life Groups are also available for deeper commitment.

Work Crews - As needed for service at church.

Short-term Mission Trips - Join teams going locally and internationally 1-10 days. All men are encouraged to participate.

Marriage Classes

Marriage 101 - Whether engaged or married, Marriage 101 is designed to be a fun time of looking at ways to understand ourselves, our spouse and our marriage. This eight-week course occurs twice a year, usually in January and September. Registration is announced from the pulpit and in the bulletin a few weeks before the class begins. To register, once it is announced you must pick up a registration form at the Information Center during our weekend services. The registration form and payment must be mailed to Abundant Life Christian Counseling (address on brochure), not to Shepherd of the Hills. Marriage 201 - This is a six-week in-depth course designed to be a continuation of Marriage 101.  Qualification for Marriage 201 is that you must have previously graduated from Marriage 101.  The next class begins March 10th.  Attendance is usually by invitation from Jim Beebe upon completion of Marriage 101.  Contact Jim Beebe at (818) 787-1242 for more information.

WOW (Widows and Widowers)

A ministry to support and encourage those who have experienced the loss of a spouse. Each week is packed with group activities and classes.

Prism Weight Loss

A Biblical approach to weight loss. Tuesdays 6pm-7pm.
