NEXT STEPS
How do I get more involved?  How can I learn more?  What do I do next?  If I were to die tomorrow, do I know if I would go to heaven?  If you are not sure how to answer these questions then this class is for you.  In this course we will expose you to the foundational beliefs of Christianity.  The Bible says Satan, “prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).” Growing a firm foundation is necessary to come out victorious in this spiritual battle.  We challenge you to attend our Next Steps class.  Contact: Pastor Shawn Walden at x. 146 or swalden@theshepherd.org.

GROWING STRONG
Usually following the Next Steps class, the Growing Strong class is for those who would like to grow stronger in the knowledge of salvation and the Christian walk.  Come learn how to develop new habits of daily Bible reading and prayer as you build relationships with other believers.  Contact: Pastor Shawn Walden at x. 146 or swalden@theshepherd.org.

EVANGELISM TRAINING CLASS
God made you to be you and to obey the Great Commission of evangelism in your own way.  Come learn how to share the Gospel in natural and powerful ways that fit you.  Get step-by-step guidance from exercises, discussions, self-assessments and video clips in this weekly class that meets Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. beginning 2007.  Contact: Pastor Shawn Walden at swalden@theshepherd.org.

DECISION COUNSELING
Assist those who come forward during the invitation at our worship services and special events in their decision of accepting Christ, being baptized, joining the church and/or prayer.  Training is required and is provided throughout the year. SIMULCASTS & SEMINARS
We host a variety of seminars and simulcasts throughout the year, which can include “Maximum Impact” with John Maxwell, “Becoming a Contagious Christian” with Mark Mittelberg, and “Case for Christmas” and “Case for Easter” with Lee Strobel.  Please watch future church bulletins for upcoming events.
