Our Weekend Services

We have two Saturday evening services (5:00 and 6:30 p.m.) and three Sunday morning services (8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.) that are identical.  We also offer a service in Spanish every Sunday at 1:30 p.m. where sermons are identical to those presented in the other 5 services, but will be delivered in Spanish by esteemed pastor Salvador Fuentes of San Fernando, California.  During our Sunday Morning 8:30am service you can find hymnal worship in the Family Life Center.  Our Sunday evening Service (6:00 p.m.) is geared towards college students and young adults, although anyone is welcome.  

Where Do I Begin?

Shepherd offers a variety of classes that clearly explain what it means to be a Christian and how to grow in your relationship with the Lord.  Below is a list of just some of these classes.  For a complete list of ministries, Bible Studies, and service opportunities, please pick up a ministry listings book at the information counter when you visit.

Membership Inquiry Class
Find out what it means to be a Christian and how to become a member of Shepherd of the Hills. This class is required for membership. Childcare is available for this class. To sign up, please call the church office at (818) 831-9333.

101 Class - Saved in Christ
If you were to die tomorrow, do you know if you would go to heaven? If you are not sure how to answer this question, then this class is for you. In this course we will expose you to the foundational beliefs of Christianity. Contact: Pastor Shawn Walden at x. 146 or swalden@theshepherd.org.

201 Class - Strong in Christ
This class is for those who would like to grow stronger in their Christian walk. Come learn how to develop new habits of daily Bible reading and prayer as you build relationships with other believers. Contact: Pastor Shawn Walden at x. 146 or swalden@theshepherd.org.

301 Class - Serving Christ

401 Class - Sharing Christ
God made you to be you and to obey the Great Commission of evangelism in your own way. Come learn how to share the Gospel in natural and powerful ways that fit you.
