Passion Play

The Passion Play is an annual, community-wide theatrical presentation of the story of Easter. Outstanding vocalists, a live orchestra, drama, dance and elaborate sets, detailed costuming and special effects - including a simulated earthquake - help to bring Los Angeles' largest Passion Play production to life. Productions

Shepherd's musical productions have earned a well-respected reputation for quality. Our productions usually take place during the different holiday seasons, and offer many different areas of involvement - from performing to all aspects of technical production. Risen Choir

The Risen Choir is our new Gospel Choir that does Special Performances for selected weekend services and Special Events. Risen rehearses every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Room 140. Risen is more youth driven and does mainly contemporary music styles such as Kirk Franklin, J Moss, and Hezekiah Walker. Risen is an audition based choir. Contact: Maxi Anderson at x. 256.
