PORTER RANCH

BIRTH - PRE-K

OUR MISSION

Establishing a foundation of Godly character in children's hearts.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are dedicated to providing a warm, loving, Christ-centered environment for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our purpose is to demonstrate and teach the love of Jesus in patience, caring and joy, through specially developed, age-appropriate curriculum. During each of the Saturday evening and Sunday morning worship services, our toddlers, three and four-year-olds enjoy a unique story time with the “Bible Story Teller,” which includes Bible-teaching and worship in song and prayer. In the individual classrooms Bible-crafts and activities reinforce the story, plus the children get to have fun having playtime too! We have classes and nursery every service on the weekends.

Children's Ministry Location

At Porter Ranch, our classrooms are located in the northeast and southeast areas of the building that face Corbin Avenue, on the main floor.  Stop by our Information Center to be directed to the individual classrooms. Or visit our new family counter in the children's ministry building.

We are always grateful to parents, family members and others who wish to volunteer with Shepherd Kids. In order to adhere to our safety standards, all individuals desiring to volunteer with the children are must complete an application and cleared background check before serving.

ELEMENTARY -Kindergarten - 5th Grade

WHO WE ARE

Our mission is to equip children with the tools to live for an all-powerful God they can trust with their lives, teaching them to love others like Christ and to honor Him with their daily choices. We partner with parents to be actively involved in their children’s spiritual growth.

WHAT WE OFFER

Every weekend service we provide Kindergarten through 5th grade programs for the kids. These are fun, interactive and exciting, Bible-based services. There are three important thing we want your kids to walk away with; I can trust God no matter what, I can make the wise choice and I should treat other the way I want to be treated. These three truths are weaved through out our curriculum building a foundation the kids stand on. Our services include worship, Bible, games and small groups helping your kids get connected to God's Big Story.
