English and Coffee | Become a Tutor

What is English and Coffee?
In 2018, teams from our church traveled to 8 different mega-cities, offering free English tutoring through materials based on the book of Luke. Friendships were made, hope was found and lives were impacted for eternity.

In 2019 our theme was, "I LOVE LA", so we brought the same program to Shepherd and named it, "English and Coffee"! We saw a huge response of immigrants, refugees and International Students who came to Shepherd to improve their English!

This year, we are continuing "English and Coffee" and we're looking for volunteers like YOU to help our new friends practice their English, through simple one-on-one conversations.

Training is required for anyone interested in Tutoring.

Our next training date will take place via Zoom on Saturday, May 2nd at 10:00 A.M.

*Registration link: Click the blue register button at the top of this page to sign up for the training. The Zoom link will be included in a confirmation email and later in a reminder email.
