Outreach

This mission trip is curated for individuals dedicated to humanitarian service, education, and empowering those who have faced adversity through the love of Jesus. We will be hosting free classes for the North Korean women and their families so if you have a special talent or gift that you can teach others, let us know! We will spend a day in prayer for North Korea and the Christians who are persecuted for their Faith.

Once again, a team from Shepherd will be traveling to Seoul to partner with "Let’s Start Talking" (LST) - the international form of Shepherd’s “English & Coffee” ministry. We will be joining partners in South Korea by offering free one-on-one conversational English practice to those wishing to improve their English using biblical material to teach.

We are privileged to serve alongside the organization Crossing Borders in their community classes held for North Korean women. Adjusting to South Korea is very difficult for North Korean defectors and these classes are one way of creating a sense of community for them. If you have a class you can teach, let us know! Last year some of our team members led the following classes: boxing, pickleball, grounding class, 2 hands activity, and more!

Join us in East Asia as we partner with the local Church to bring a fun Christ-centered Summer camp for children. Many children will be from families who are not believers and it is a great opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. Our team will lead classes, games, and other activities for the camp all week long.

Wheels for the World™️ offers the hope of the Gospel while providing life-changing mobility to people living with disabilities worldwide. We will be delivering wheelchairs to those in need along with a Bible. Serve with us as a Seating Therapist, Mechanic, Photojournalist, Seamstress, or in a Support role. Every team member will directly impact people living with disability in a life-changing way.
